Nikko was born in December 2018. We decided to add him to our program to add some consistency with our dogs, as well as to add some color! Nikko has been genetic tested and is clear for all the genetic diseases that this breed carries. Nikko’s health testing was mostly done in early 2020 with the final testing completed in 2021. Nikko received his CHIC enrollment number in March 2021! His health testing can be viewed on the OFA website, the link is below.

Nikko has an impressive show career so far with very limited showing! 

September 2019– Received first 4 points by taking Winners Dog and Best of Winners 2 days in a row. Final day he took Winners Dog. Roseburg Oregon

September 2019– Received Reserve Winners Dog on day 1, Received his first 5 point Major by taking Winners Dog, then Best of Winners on day 2, followed the next day by Winners Dog for another point. Tri Cities Washington

October 2019 – Shown IABCA and went on to earn his International, National and Honors Championships! He also earned a Group One win and 3 Group Two wins over the 2 day show! Ridgefield Washington

October 2019 – Earned his AKC Canine Good Citizen title. Ridgefield Washington

October 2019– Earned his AKC Puppy Of Achievement Award 

October 2019– Reserve Winners Dog. Ridgefield Washington

November 2019– Reserve Winners Dog. Ridgefield WA

January 2020 – Won his second 5 point Major by taking Winners Dog and Best Of Winners over a VERY competitive group in Palm Springs California! This win finished out Nikko’s 15 points to land him his CHAMPIONSHIP with AKC! Nikko was just 12 months old! He was handled beautifully by Sammie Lewis!

September 2020 – Took Best of Breed Owner Handled twice in Enumclaw WA

November 2020 – took Select Dog in 3 shows to earn 6 points towards his Grand Championship! Also took Best of Breed Owner Handled twice. Coeur D’Alene Idaho.

April 2021– Select Dog at both Caldwell and Lewiston Idaho

April 2022– Best of Breed, Group One on day 1 of Caldwell. Best of Opposite day 2. Best of Breed day 3 of Caldwell ID. Best of Breed/Best of Bred Owner Handled Yakima WA day 1.

May-June 2022 Stats came out! Nikko sits at #10 nationally in All Breed points! #38 Breed.

August 2022 Select Dog at the Mt Rainier Working Dog Club and Select Dog at the Olympic Kennel Club show in Enumclaw. Currently sitting #15 All Breed!

September/October 2022 Nikko went Select Dog day 1 of the Tri Cities Cluster, Best Of Breed days 2 and 3, and Select Dog day 4. Nikko earned his GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP!

November 2022 Select Dog and Best of Opposite at the Vancouver Kennel Club show in Ridgefield WA. Nikko is currently sitting #36 in Breed points and #19 All Breed points in the national standings!

January 2023 Select Dog all 4 days of the Rose City Classic dog show in Portland Oregon. These points put Nikko halfway to his Bronze Grand Championship!

April 2023 Best Of Breed and Group Four at Moses Lake Kennel Club dog show. Only entered one day. Select Dog in Lewiston ID. Only entered one day.

June 2023 Best of Breed all 4 days of the Five Valley Kennel Club show in Missoula MT.

September 2023 Select Dog, twice, at the Tri Cities Cluster in Kennewick, WA.

April 2024 Select Dog, and Best Of Breed at the Yakima Valley Kennel Club in Yakima, WA.

2022 stats: Earned Grand Championship in only 6 show weekends! Took a handful of big BOB wins, a couple BOS, a bunch of Selects, and a GROUP ONE!! Finishing 2022 as the #40 in Breed points, and #20 in AllBreed points!!

2023 stats: Almost a Bronze Grand, just 21 points shy! In just 14 show days, he earned 5 breed wins and 7 selects! He closes out 2023 as #20 All Breed points, #2 dog in WA, #3 Mastiff in WA.
